About Keith Shepherd
KEITH SHEPHERD Artist, designer, illustrator in residence in Kansas City for 24 years and counting. Born and raised in St. Louis,Mo. from a family of 10. IÕve been in pursuit of the creative arts for as long as I can remember. From early competitions to some of the finest galleries in the country today I continue to strive to be the best that I can be. IÕve donated artwork to many various charities and have been pleased to see them go to the highest bidders. As I mentioned IÕve exhibited paintings whenever possible and are well received. One such piece ÔSUNDAY BESTÕ has been part of a traveling show sponsored by the Negro League Baseball Museum in Kansas City Mo.. ItÕs been featured in various newspapers and websites noted for itÕs colorful depiction of African American life during the heyday of that rich sports heritage. With my work I desire to inspire a patron to seek more than the art in question. To research the history behind each piece. Not just another material possession but to become a part of their family legacy that can be passed from generation to generation.
